I am a middle school student. People often say that the middle school students' lives are very dull. But I think it is wrong. Our lives are very rich and interesting.
My teacher has taught us art education since we were in Junior Grade Two. Now we have learned it for three years. By learning it, we understand what is real beauty and we know something about the art of Ansient Greece① and how to appreciate② it. Then we made our classroom and our minds beautiful with the knowledge of aesthetics③ that we have learned.
On the left wall of our classroom there are two pieces of paper on which are written famous proverbs. On the right wall there are two pictures. And on one side of the blackboard is our bookcase④. There is a statue of Beethoven on it and we have all kinds of newspapers and magazines in the bookcase. At noon, if you come to our classroom, you can find many of us reading newspapers and magazines or listening to famous music of the world.
We have each a little newspaper. We give them lovely names: Little Grass, Sailing Boat, A Flower with Seven Colours …. Each of us likes running his own newspaper. We put our hearts into it. They are our good friends. And they are also a bridge between us pupils and our teachers. And they are also our exercise-books and composition-books. We write in our newspapers our good wishes, our splendid ideas, our carefully-written compositions, little poems and stories which are written in English by ourselves. And we often write down what we have learned.
In this way we make our lives rich and colourful. All of us love our class, our teachers and our lives.
We know Rome was not built in a day⑤. In order to become a good student, we should study even harder and master much more knowledge. We know knowledge is power, which makes us strong and our minds beautiful.
